Top Ten Reasons to Visit Miami

Miami is called “the Magic City,” and I’m not sure why, but I am not surprised. Miami has so much to offer, I could literally sell Miami to anyone who would want to hear me rant and rave about all the reasons I like it so much. Here are my top ten reasons for visiting Miami.

1. Climate. Tropical fun, sun, and beaches. What more do you want in life or retirement?

2. Diverse culture. You want Chinese food? Of course Miami has it, so do most large cities. Do you want Brazilian, Colombian, or Peruvian Cuisine? Check. Italian? No doubt. Miami is the most diverse city in the USA.

3. Sporting events. Every major sport is represented in Miami, and the Miami Hurricanes are among the top teams in most college sports. Add in local schools FIU, St. Thomas, and others, and you won’t miss a beat if you are a sports fan.

4. Celebs. Sure, most people could care less. But, they provide sight seeing such as fancy homes and cars, plus they bring a lot of rumors to the local newspapers and blogs.

5. Night life and fine dining. Amazing and unbeatable, only Las Vegas compares in the USA.

6. Location. You are literally a hop, skip, and jump from major Caribbean Islands and the Americas.

7. Port City. Miami makes it easy to do International Business with it’s strategic location.

8. Diversity of regions to live. If you like the ‘burbs, you have Doral, Kendall, and Weston. If you like the Beach scene, than South Beach is your place. Also, business-minded people can look to Brickell Avenue. Read the rest of this entry »
