Green Police
Miami is a very clean city.I have been living in this city for 4 years because of my job.Luckily,my house is near the beach.It means that I can see the beautiful sea and smell the fresh air when I am getting up in the morning.That is really a very wonderful experience for me!
A good environment in the city means that every citizen should do their best to keep the street and the air clean.It is essential for us to live a happy life.But we still find that some people do not obey the environmental laws .For example,a factory producing autos releases a lot of black gas.Of course,the factory is not complying with emission standards. I think it surely will make the city dirty.In my point of view,it is not a good place for us to live in because the air which is polluted by factory will induce many diseases,such as cancers.
So what should we do when we find a man or a factory is polluting our city? Of course,we should find a very effective way.As far as I know,green police is very useful.Then you may ask me what the green police is.Ok,I will introduce it to you in this article.
Green police ,which is short for New York City’s Department of Environmental Conservation,is very popular in New York.It has a team of twenty officers.This agent has two dramatic functions.First,it enforces environmental regulations and issue citations to environmental violators. It is professional in measuring the amount of pollution a vehicle is emitting.Second,it can inspect food vendors to ensure environmental regulations are being followed.With the help of it,you do not have to worry whether your food is safe or not.
In my opnion ,other cities should learn from Green Police because it will do great help to the our health.
