Miami Voyage

     Miami is a very clean city.I have been living in this city for 4 years because of my job.Luckily,my house is near the beach.It means that I can see the beautiful sea and smell the fresh air when I am getting up in the morning.That is really a very wonderful experience for me!

     A good environment in the city means that every citizen should do their best to keep the street and the air clean.It is essential for us to live a happy life.But we still find that some people do not obey the environmental laws .For example,a factory producing autos releases a lot of black gas.Of course,the factory is not complying with emission standards. I think it surely will make the city dirty.In my point of view,it is not a good place for us to live in because the air which is polluted by factory will induce many diseases,such as cancers.

     So what should we do when we find a man or a factory is polluting our city? Of course,we should find a very effective way.As far as I know,green police is  very useful.Then you may ask me what the green police is.Ok,I will introduce it to you in this article.

   Green police ,which is short for  New York City’s Department of Environmental Conservation,is very popular in New York.It has a team of twenty officers.This agent has two dramatic functions.First,it enforces environmental regulations and issue citations to environmental violators. It is professional in measuring the amount of pollution a vehicle is emitting.Second,it can inspect food vendors to ensure environmental regulations are being followed.With the help of it,you do not have to worry whether your food is safe or not.

     In my opnion ,other cities should learn from Green Police because it will do great help to the our health.

     Driving in Miami is one of my hobbies  because Miami is a very beautiful city.Driving in Miami means that you should own a car which is of high quality.The brand of my car is Ford.This car has been in company with me for about 3 years.So it is a little old at first glance.I prepare to renew it and make it fashionable!

     In my point of view,a fashionable car means that your car  should be personalized.So I plan to take two measures to personalize my car.

     First,get the service of private number plates.Generally speaking,people tend to concentrate in the number plate of a car.The reason is very simple,that is ,the number plate is one of the most important aspects in distinguish your car from others`.Many people have already personalized their number plates.If you are still not going to do that,it means that you are out of date! I insert a picture on the right corner of the article as an example.It is really very cool!

     Second,paint my car.The colour of my car is white.This colour was very popular when I bought my car.Obviously,this colour can not satisfy me any more now! I think yellow is very good.Of course,I will ask a professional agent to help me.

     I am living with my parents in Miami now.In my point of view,Miami is the best city to live in.In fact,I have travelled to many other cities.But I still love Miami.That is why I set up a wordpress blog and share my experiences with my readers.

     I have concluded three reasons to live in Miami:

     First,there are various kinds of resorts in Miami.We all want to live in a place with beautiful scenery.Then,Miami will surely satisfy you because it is famous for its sea and beach.There are many activities for you to choose from when you come to Miami.The most interesting thing is to sail on the beautiful sea.Othe than sailing,I am also fond of diving.Miami will give you  many fresh ideas when you settle down in this city.

     Second,the people here are very passional.It means that you can make friends with the people there.We are all afraid of  being alone because that will make us feel lonely.Living in Miami means that you can free yourself from loneliness.

     Third,there are many delicious dishes for us.Miami is a very big city and you can taste the dishes from all over the world.You do not have to worry that your lunch is very drab.

     An American Airlines flight that was scheduled to fly from Miami to Boston was forced to return and land again in Miami after a flight attendant found a threatening note in the bathroom of the plane. The exact wording of the note is still not known at this time, but officials have confirmed that the word “bomb” was used and that the note referenced the possibility that explosives may have been in the checked luggage.

     After the plane returned to Miami, all of the passengers and crew were allowed to disembark and all of the luggage was re-screened. The plane was kept in Miami overnight with all of the passengers staying overnight until a new flight the following day. The entire plane was scoured by authorities for any evidence of explosives and nothing was found.

     The flight eventually made its way to Boston this morning without incident, but the investigation into the note is still ongoing. There are no details at this point explaining the exact circumstances around the discovery of the note. Depending on how the note was found in the lavatory, it may have been an intentional hoax by a passenger or crew member - or it may simply have been a note that was found outside of its proper context.

     As this investigation continues, it’s likely that authorities will attempt to prosecute someone for this type of activity, as it goes to the very core of the new security measures enacted following the September 11 attacks.

     The decision was hailed as historic by lawyers for the men whose case has become a cause celebre in Cuba.

     The five men, Gerardo Hernández, Antonio Guerrero, Ramón Labañino, René González, and Fernando González, were jailed in 2001 with sentences ranging from 15 years to life, after a seven-month trial in Miami, home to the largest number of Cuban exiles in the US. It was alleged that they had been acting as agents of a foreign government without having registered as such.

     The five, who were first detained in 1998, claimed that they had merely been monitoring and infiltrating the anti-Castro groups in southern Florida to prevent attacks on Cuba. A number of exile groups have been involved over the years in assassination attempts against the Cuban leader and efforts to sabotage the island’s economy via a bombing campaign aimed at Havana hotels.

     Lawyers for the men, known as both the Miami Five and the Cuban Five, argued before the 11th circuit court of appeals that it had not been possible for a fair trial in the overtly hostile climate of Miami. They argued that jurors would have been aware of the potential angry reaction had they acquitted the men. The court overturned the convictions and ordered a new trial.
